Ms. Adelaide Aglietta from the European External Action Service, Ms. Eva Maria Troya Blanco from the EU Delegation to Lebanon, and Mr. Sandor Dusik from the EU Delegation to Turkey visited ORSAM in order to discuss the ongoing project entitled “Improving Effectiveness of Measures to Tackle the Foreign Terrorist Fighters and Radicalization Threat” run by ORSAM in coordination with TOBB University and Turkmeneli Collaboration and Culture Foundation. The meeting held in ORSAM Building was headed by the Project Manager and ORSAM President Prof. Ahmet Uysal where the Project Academic Coordinator, Asst. Prof. Goktug Sonmez discussed the current progress and ongoing field researches in each activity in detail. One of the project’s key experts, Asst. Prof. Gulriz Sen, also informed the delegation about the initial findings of their field research carried out for the work package about women’s role regarding radicalization and de-radicalization.
